Dear Jane Austen….a girls guide to modern life! I love Jane Austen…as many do! I am providing hand-curated gifts based on Jane Austen heroines and other characters…my favorite of all her heroines is Anne Elliot, Persuasion. I love her understanding that we must forge our own paths, that the persuasion of others about our decisions must still be claimed as our own and we must assume accountability regardless of the outcome.

I had the opportunity to visit England in 2003, and of course, a trip to Bath was on the must-dos of my trip. I stopped in to the Jane Austen Centre and loved every moment. I look forward to the day when my daughter has cultivated a love for Jane Austen that rivals my own.
